Charteris Tartan

The Clan Charteris does not currently have a clan tartan. However, in our experience, some highland-wear companies recommend Roxburgh District Tartan for members of our clan.

An alternative tartan which could be appropriate to our clan’s heritage is Nithsdale District Tartan, because the main line of the clan was historically based in Nithsdale.
